Properties
A composite is a combination of reinforcements (fibre) and a matrix (resin). The function of the matrix is to bond the fibres together. For the mechanical properties of our products we look at the fibres, because they give the mechanical properties of the profile. Because the different directions of the fibres, the properties are also different.
Heat resistance of the matrix is a very important item in the fibre reinforced industry.
Because of its effect on the mechanical properties of the
composite.
The resin matrixes we use are:
Polyurethane 190 C heat distorpsion temp
Epoxy, Prince A 170 C heat distorpsion temp
Epoxy, Prince B 100 C heat distorpsion temp
Vinyl-ester - epoxy hybrid 105 C heat distorpsion temp
Poy-ester 100 C heat distorpsion temp
The fibre volume in our products is to suit customer requirements within limitations of price and volume

Surface
By braiding our profiles we can create a very smooth sutface.
Our glassfibre products can be produced in almost any RAL colour, on request.
On several profiles we can create a high glass surface finish.
Lenghts
Pull braiding is a 'continuous proces' (which means that all lenghts are available).
